To be perfectly transparent here - I wasn't really thinking about losing weight. Help came anyway.
It came in the form of an old friend named Joe who had just joined Team Beach Body as a coach and in the process of talking about it and seeing people's before and after photos, I started to take notice.
I wanted to be slim and trim again. And I started to want it BAD - grin.
So we ordered me up a fitness DVD from their many choices. Got a good one, but I think there's one I want even more now - lol - we'll work with what we got for now ;-)
And while I waited for my snail mail I started poking around in the members area (it's free to join and get losing weight help, btw) - where I found all kinds of cool stuff.
First a quick fitness assesment quiz - and YES being a recovering Internet potatoe, I checked 'some exercise' when it asked for activity level - then got real and went back and checked 'sedentary' - lol
That popped out not only a daily calorie goal, but a weekly meal plan and an organized grocery list for that menu. Cool!
I printed off the shopping list. Felt pretty good about it too. Haven't taken it shopping yet though - grin.
But I'm cool with baby steps and here's why ... because often when I start something all hyped up and excited about it, I soon peter out or get distracted by some other shiny object along the path.
Baby steps - consistent baby steps are like the difference between being the tortise and the hare. It may feel like progress isn't happening, but I'll get there and my results will be way more effective for having developed the habit of being a baby stepper.
That make sense?

Weight Loss/ Release Three Years Later
How completely interesting.
It's been 3 years to the day since I first posted on this blog.
See I created it with the intention of taking advantage of the huge weight loss market here online. I figured I could get a piece of the pie too (it's truly a honkin' huge market).
Just never got around to it. My heart wasn't in it.
But it is now :)
Yep, it's true - I've officially (and honestly) gained the hat of "Internet Potato" and I'm ready to make a shift away from that. Ready to release the weight that's come to rest so adeptly at my mid-section.
I was a skinny 95lbs before my first pregnancy. Not sure I'm going *quite* there again - but sure will be nice to get closer than I am right now (yeah I know I gotta get a whole lot more specific for the Universe to do its part).
With each baby (there are three - oldest is 15) I became the owner of a little more real estate - maybe you know how it is.
And now at 41 - I'm officially done baby making (baby Zane is 2 1/2) and ready to reclaim the less of me that once was.
I'll tell you a little about how I'm gonna do it next post.
For now, it's enough to have begun - feeling very relaxed and confident. My weight loss /release adventure began today.
Maybe you'd like to come too?
Perfect timing!
Appreciate you,
Andrea

Did You "Lose" Your Weight??
Well, I've had this blog in storage for quite awhile now and I think it's time I got it up and running.
I have a friend who's a Melaleucca enthusiast ... she keeps a helath blog. Recently she made a post that relates to releasing weight ... thought I'd share it with you :)
Health and Wellness 4 U!!: Weight Loss Tips from Mom-Defrazzler
Hate the word 'loss' when people talk about managing weight .... what're we telling ourselves .... that we want to find it again??
LOL!
Release that weight ;-)
